  • Hot and very humid today, just a bit of breeze to help.

Last of the Spring planting to do on the allotment this weekend, then I can say I've caught up (there) at last. Don't mention my garden though I said don't mention........

    Have a good'un

    • Good morning all.
Our yellow rain warning didn't come true yesterday either Jay.
We had a day of hazy sunshine and it looks like the same again today,
Off to play pitch and putt in a while.
It's a bank holiday weekend here so hopefully it will stay dry.
      Have a good day all.

And when your back stops aching,
And your hands begin to harden.
You will find yourself a partner,
In the glory of the garden.

It's going well. The staff are nice and the clients I go to are lovely I could sit and listen to their stories all day if I didn't have to keep going from house to house lol. I do help them out as well I just don't go in sitting and chatting.

PT netted and now has a 150mm timber skirt. Will start the digging during the week. Lovely sunshine with a gentle breeze made for a very pleasant day.

            How's your garden Thelma

              Is it flouncy with ruffles?

How's your garden Thelma? GL is asking.

I've planted beetroot outside and cucumbers in the GH.
              Done a spot of weeding.
Watered the GHs as the tomatoes had their tongues hanging out.
Picked strawberries, mangetout and a cucumber.
Chatted to the tadpoles who are still legless.
Inspected the apple trees and picked out some of the dead flowers as they look tidier without them (and it wastes a bit of time).
              Nibbled a clover flower.
Took some photos to bore you with.

                • Evening all, not long home from an enjoyable outing to Gardening Scotland at Ingliston. Scottish Branch of the NVS had a marvellous display up which earned a very deserved gold medal.

We very nearly didn't go down as there was a yellow rain warning in place but in the event there were only a few very light showers.

I'm kna ermh a bit tired now so feet are up

                        Have a jolly day, everyone.

Morning all, hope you are all having a good weekend up to now. I have got a big clean up operation on today, boy did we get a storm yesterday evening, thankfully no real damage just cosmetics and its an ideal chance to play with my power jet washer and get it cleaned up.

                            Have a good day everyone

                                Another beautiful sunny morning here.
The tall ships are in Dublin port for the weekend.
I had intended going but it's just too nice to go into a hot crouded city.
Think a day in the garden is the way to go.
