Hello everyone. Glad to see you back, NS.

Coolish and cloudyish this morning. Downpour yesterday afternoon (15 litres per square metre in next to no time), no more overnight but could be a bit of drizzle this morning. Had been hoping to do a bit of gardening this morning, but everywhere is far too wet. Would have loved to be able to say that last year, so mustn't complain.

Not much other news. More of the same would seem to sum it up.

Found this out when I was pegging the washing out
Only growing three varieties of spuds this year. It’s quite lovely to see the difference between the haulms
No need to number buckets this year, but we did of course.
Runners are running up their strings fast.
Still on the diet Nicos, only put on 1.5lb on holiday, but I’ve still got it to lose
Work is still as busy as ever, so life is good

Just spent ages pulling off rotting vegetation from various plants..was supposed to be planting out but got side tracked...as ever!

Good evening a an other lovely day today, big black clouds for a short time and thought it would rain but they drifted by and again it turned very warm, and I can put up with that,it looks like I have lost most of my veg seedlings, a cats been n fleece he garden and scraped and scratched all over my seed bed, I know its a touchy subject but I get quite angry with other people's animals coming into my garden, when I had dogs I kept them under control, the neighbours across the road keep their cat in the house all the time, so I don't see why others can't do the same.
Right moan finished, nice to see you back NS, and just to let you and Nicos know, I am still 2st. 1lb. down from two month's ago and that's also with me being away on holiday so happy with that, I intend to get down by an other stone, but no target time, perhaps I should empty my pockets before weighing my self next time right need to go and see if VC is walking about with a purple dress and wellies as she is of that age Goodnight

Well today I took a complete break from the plot. Planted out some bedding plants at home all grown from seed and then drove up to Banff for a wander around the Spotty Bag Shop(thats the name of it, honest) and whilst there took a leaf out of Rary's book and allowed my better half to buy me lunch.

Well...guess who is very much awake having spent the last 15 mins trying to recatch a live vole which was running around our lounge?
Yup....moi!

Brought in via the bedroom Velux by Hibou who made a dash downstairs...( she just knew it was wrong eh????) then promptly released it..then sat and supervised me moving the sofa, chairs, rugs , tables and cabinates desperately throwing tea towels over it in a chance of catching it.
Job done and it's survived to live another day

Almost tempted to put on my gardening clothes as it's quite a refreshing morning out there
