Brilliant Sunshine at 6 has now gone and the clouds have rolled in and the temperatures have dropped here, but unless we have rain I will be visiting my plot tonight or first thing Friday morning to water everything. According to the weather forecast we have Sun and rising temperatures each day up to 28C on Sunday 30th June.
Have a good one people, whatever you end up doing

Morning all. Good news about Mrs Cads, I'm pleased for you both. Popped up the lotty to water earlier but it was too cold and too windy. Only 7.9 inside the PT and no way the hosepipe pressure would be enough to squirt upwind. Instead I gormed about and watched the midsummer sun climb over the rooftops before coming back home to warm up
Bright but chilly this morning. Got to do the obligatory shopping trip today but hopefully wont take too long. I shall be watering again today but mainly beans and squashes.
Mornin n'alln'all
Oi!...own up...who pinched the sun?
Actually-it was too hot to garden in full sun yesterday afternoon (hit 32C!) so it's a bit of a relief that we can crack on more comfortably with the mammouth task of the side of the garage path and borders....
Best crack on!
See ya later peeps
Longest day eh?....soon be C*******s
"Nicos, Queen of Gooooogle" and... GYO's own Miss Marple
Bright and breezy here too, slow walk round the garden as part of my physio, everything really is growing nicely, will it last I wonder?
Enjoy your mid summer day(no dancing naked round the garden, you'll frighten the plants.)
Mornings. Bit of a shock to the system when I went outside first thing - a decidedly cold NW wind, and greenhouse autovents still tightly shut I hope it means rain is on the way. MetO saying that this looks like it is going to be the driest June on record for much of the country https://blog.metoffice.gov.uk/2018/0...y-june-so-far/
Afternoon everyone. Haven't stopped for the past couple of days, got boiler fixed, been to allotment, picking kids up and dropping them off at school, appointments and then going to work. Can't do allotment tomorrow as Will is having an open morning at his new school. So I'm going in to see his classroom and have a chat with his teacher.
Might be able to make a brief visit to the allotment, possibly for a cup of tea and pick some rubbish up for the tip.
Have a good afternoon everyone
Morning everyone. Sunny start here as well this morning. Picking kids up then have a look around Williams class and school work for a bit. Will then slip off to allotment and load my car up with a load of rubbish for the tip like chemical bottles etc, stuff that can't be burnt. Thing about this plot is a load of rubbish and no treasures
Have a good day everyone
