Good afternoon for today and yesterday, things are so,so dry now,had a look down lottie,i noticed that the horsetail seems to be protecting the plants, they look ok,but other plots that have removed them, are really dry,so just maybe it gets the thumbs up for this year, for it's help in keeping the ground moist, still hot here, thank goodness for a light breeze, had my first physio and boy oh boy,it was sore, most of the time he hit the spot, all i did was squeek and jump, same time next week, stay safe in the heat.

Good evening, a nice warm day today, not much done as in the morning we attended school prize giving, then after school took the boy's swimming, though in between those, OH wanted to go to Morrison's for some flowers, so she picked what she wanted and I took them to the till and paid for them, though I wasn't too happy as she wanted her change back while there I bought 4 chrysanthemum plants and had quite a bother trying to find space for them in the flower garden, I thought I should be like Snoop and send a note to myself, not to buy any more flower plants, then thought name would be a wast of time, I wouldn't pay any attention to it
Enjoy your day tomorrow, and pass on a smile Goodnightit may be a struggle to reach the top, but once your over the hill your problems start.

Mornin' all.
Hope Mrs C is going well, Cadalot, after her meds. Sorry to hear about your border, Nicos. And Rary, I was going to say that I might talk to myself but I've never gone so far as to write myself a note. Till I remembered that I do, every time I write a message on here. I still don't seem to have learnt the lesson though.
Going to be another hot one here by the look of it. Hope the potatoes survive...
Have a good day, everyone.

Already done over an hour of domestics! Windows and frames cleaned. You'd have thought with all the rain we had earlier it'd have washed the pollen off the windows!
Another couple of hours and I can get outside and crack on...all starting to come together...good feeling isn't it?
Right...best get on...see ya later peeps"Nicos, Queen of Gooooogle" and... GYO's own Miss Marple

Mornings!
Sunny but quite chill with that NE breeze again. Forecast says 'feels like 16C' which is a bit of a shock to the system. Time for something to eat then off to the plot, more trying to dig out the old dying rhubarb roots.
Definitely a case of if at first you don't succeed, try again, with this monster
Have a good'un whatever you're doing

Good day all. Hot again innit. I’ve been trying to fit the new nozzle to my hose. It has universal fittings but after 20 mins of trying to work it out i’m indoors chilling with a glass of iced soda water. I can be silly sometimes but have never been called stupid (except my ex husband, but hey ho). It won’t defeat me.
Really need to spray the weeds but in amongst them are the California poppies. The last photos I took of my late OH had them in the background and this is the first time they’ve flowered since. I might need to pull the weeds up instead. Too hot until later. The strawberries are doing well. I don’t have many plants just enough to treat myself every couple of days.
Right, rehydration done, i’ll go and do battle with the hose again."I prefer rogues to imbeciles as they sometimes take a rest" (Alexander Dumas)
