Good evening, a lovely day here again, and though quite warm still enjoying it, Cad if you meet you "friend" just give a smile and wish him a good day, if it annoys him that's too bad but it should let him know that you are not bothered about him and it is always better to turn the other cheek, unless you have no option.
Not doing much with the boy's ad its too warm for them though did have a wee game of football with the youngest, and that lasted till he broke his third plant with the ball, I know its my pride and joy just know, but he ranks higher this evening I was out in the field behind my garden cutting down reeds and dockens and grass about two feet high, I will try and make a door ball pitch out there though it might take me a bit of time as all I have is grass shears, and it could really do with a tractor and cutter, no matter I will see what I can do. Well enjoy the good weather and try to relax a bit,and remember its easy to say something nasty, not so easy to take it back. Goodnight

Much of the same for me today.
Looks like the redstart chicks we had in the garage have fledged!
We saw them flying around yesterday evening flying around, chattering away!...beautiful!

Also had to catch a swallow flying around our lounge yesterday-must have flown in through our back door.
Stunningly pretty close to. Very calm and light...flew off like a rocket when released!

Morning all.
Young bird encounter for us too Nicos (although very brief). Sitting the patio table when a juvenile goldfinch landed a foot away from my hand, looked suddenly startled and flew off again. It made my day.
Yesterdays temp was a tad more comfortable but today looks like it's going to be hot.

Morning all, lovely morn8ng again, but cooler due to the rain lashing we had
Hubby has been busy sweeping up dropped flower petals, bean petals and still slug hunting.
About a month ago I bought a patio rose and decided to put it in the flower border instead.
This triffid has grown much bigger than I thought, but the pink roses have such a lovely scent, I don’t care.
I like nice surprises in the garden

Returned from the plot and have installed a new hose system from the bottom end so that I don't have to use the controversial tap at the top end of the two plots I have. It did make me chuckle as my Nemesis kept running to the tap to see if I had done anything to it until he realised I had put an extension to my existing system in

I can now actually connect from either end or both if I wanted too, but for the sake of piece and quiet and my teeth and face I think discretion is the better part of valour

We have robins coming in the house for the last few weeks with all the windows and doors open.
