Morning all, slight breeze out this morning, so may be a tad cooler
We are having ‘road upgrades’ down our road, all being done very efficiently I must say
They start at 8.00 every morning, dustmen day, they were here at 7.30. Amazing, the council must be talking to each other lol
Off to work this morning and back on the diet

Good morning all,WAS cooler an hour ago,uggg another scorchio,need to plot and get some barrels filled up,for a water later on,the beans are in full flower just now,so need to keep them watered before they they start dropping off,look after yourselves.

No sun at the mo, so feeling a lot cooler 16C in the breeze.
Off to the hospital for x rays later, what joy
Chores later I think, need to do some ironing at least.

Good grief...no blue anywhere in the sky!...that's a first for a while. Still nice and warm though

Domestics for me today-including the dreaded ironing. Must find a film to keep me company!

The baby wrens in the nest fledged yesterday -one straight into the hen enclosure and was promptly grabbed by one of the chooks
Never seen OH shift so fast-rugby tackled the chook and rescued the chick alive and well.
Gawd.....this looking after nature is hard work eh?

Sunny here but the temp is down a little, just 16deg at the moment.
Taking my granddaughter shopping today, she wants to buy some gifts for her new cousin.
Didn't really want to go into town in this heat but I suppose needs must,l

Much cooler today and cloudy! We had a little rain during the night...yes you heard it here first, rain!! Only trouble is, up here when it rains it forgets to stop!!
Domestics today for me too Nicos including ironing!!yuk!

Good afternoon, just back in from walking the dogs and although cloudy it still feel a bit muggy, was out in the garden this morning giving the veg a bit of water, (its a rare thing doing that here) but had started to water the plants when the rain came on so stopped the watering and went in the house to get ready to head up to watch the boy's, and by the time I came back out the house the rain was off (that's a rare thing also, the rain not lasting more than ten minutes) and right now I need something to do, the boy's are on their Xbox, OH is watching old Coronation Street programs and I am at a loose end, and before anyone offers I don't iron and no I don't want to learn how to and after giving it some thought its now time to inspect the inside of my eyelids

Rary, the person who taught me to iron was my dad. I wish he hadn’t. However i’ve bought the first ironing board i’ve used in 10 years. My daughter keeps buying me lovely tops that need ironing.

I’m having a bits and bobs day. My son bought some tools from Screwfix yesterday but they only provide them on a next day pick up. So I picked up and delivered. Bought some plants, did a top up shop, filled my prescription at the pharmacy, posted my claim for the accident last week, then decided I deserved a g n t so took myself off to a hotel that has a lovely garden to sit in. At the bar was an old friend that I don’t see very often and whose mum I used to work with. Then home, to a frantic call from another friend who needed a lift to the pharmacy or the doctor was going to send her to hospital. Now home and chilling ish.

And I haven’t unloaded the shopping yet.

Oh, and the biggy, Prince has picked up some livestock. So I had a trip to the vet. I have to treat Hollie as well. They are now not talking to me. They really don’t like the treatment.

Hey peeps..Been a while since i last posted here...Family issues has kept me busy this year...Ive only managed to plant potatoes,carrots and swedes...Waves to all.

Good evening, complete cloud cover but still feels a bit clammy, put up a bit of shelving so that I can move all my flower plants out of the greenhouse, and did a bit of tidying up, and must admit it badly needed it, I really do need to stop just sitting things down, so I have made a note to myself to tidy up after I am doing anything,did some potting on of marigolds, and went round about the garden with a hoe to remove any weeds in the paths, and that the rain on so don't need to go out and do any watering though I will need to find out what I did with that note Goodnight
