Hot, hot hot here as well.
I was up early, didn’t claim the best frock because my light cotton nightie was more suitable in this heat
My two tomato plants are prolific at the moment, we will be at glut level by next week
I must try and work out how to get pics on here again
We have a giant Oleander that is at least 25 years old, in a large pot on our patio. The amount of water this one is needing is amazing
Work this morning, so have a good one folks
Good morning, feels a bit clammy this morning, had some light rain overnight and looking at the sky may get more, though there is some blue sky showing, don't know what I will do today as oldest grandson is going cycling, so it's just the young one and me, the big problem with him is getting him away from the Xbox or the guitar or the drums, thank goodness I can remove my hearing aid, like your hut Cad also your drying shed I think I will make up something like that, as I usually have problems getting my onions dry enjoy your day Folks

Good morning all.
We have a cooler start to the day with broken cloud and a temp of 15deg.
Off out for lunch to my friends house and then to the cemetery.
My mother's third anniversary today.
Have a good day all and stay cool.
And when your back stops aching,
And your hands begin to harden.
You will find yourself a partner,
In the glory of the garden.
Morning, looks nice out but I’m not completely sure of that as I’m still in bed!!
Hope you all have a lovely day and that it’s not too warm for you. Take care in the sunshine!!
Morning Crew - 46.3 in the greenhouse with the door open and 25.5 in doors and the sun isn't halfway down the garden so the external walls are not getting warmed up yet. The wife's medication can't be stored in the fridge but is not supposed to go above 30C so I have been standing it on an ice block to cool it down and keep it below 30C. I have a thermometer sitting on the ice block with it and It lowers the temperature about 6C from the rest of the house.
Way too warm to be in my little broom cupboard office at least it has a window I can open and I have a fan that plugs into the USB port. Going to buy a Ryobi Circular Saw to cut up all the free Timber Joists I got from the building site behind my allotment.
These are going to be cut to bed sizes
2.4x1.2m measured internally here is the first batch that I did with the brother-in-laws saw over the weekend.
Mornings!
Blimey, Cad that timber was a lucky find, worth a fortune on the plot
Scorchio again this morning, bit cloudy first thing, but not a drop fell from it. Very hot and humid as there's no breeze. Can't see me doing much today (apart from sweat!)
Plot was watered last night, although home greenhouses will need watering again today.
Got my Palm Beach sundress on today and legs are out - so it must be hot
Have a good'un
Morning all,Lucky you Cad,you deserve some ladd,i have no plans in this hot heat, only what has to be,got physio shortly, was lovely outside earlier on,now building up,this after is said to be excrutiatingly hot,so i will hibernate in the shade and go to sleep again, had 4.5 hours yesterday, feel sorry for those that have to work in it,stay safe folk,Bgood2yrselves
sigpicAnother nutter ,wife, mother, nan and nanan, love my growing places, seed collection and sharing, also one of these
I felt lucky and then very very knackered after shifting it from the site onto my plot, I was that wet with sweat that it looked as if a hose pipe had been turned on me and I had to change and shower when I got home to cool off, I also drank about 4 litres of water as I don't want kidney stones again due to dehydrating.

Good afternoon, just cut the grass, and sitting having a coffee, and reading some of the posts I think we are quite fortunate here as the temp. is 21 with a light breeze what I would call a nice afternoon, just waiting no to go and pick up my son and his family coming back from holiday, so off to droop off his dog then head out to collect him, I don't know what I will do now that there is no dog in the house, OH will be keeping her eye on me now to make sure I don't make a mess:rolleyes as if
