So sore after exertions today I can hardly move.
I am having to choose between brufen and cold beer.
How sad I think I’m going to take the brufen. Getting older not huge fun sometimes.

The promised storm was just a few sploshes.

Needed to keep the fan going all night for the first time. Ah well -we'll only be moaning about the rain, frosts, wind and snow in months to come!

Morning all. Yes, it was a gorgeous moon, wasn't it Nicos. Sadly, we're forecast clouds tonight...

Work on the cards this morning, then off out shopping with Mr Snoop. Got a load of Amazon Prime packages to pick up at the post office. Still haven't got over the wonder of international shopping from my tiny village. And oh the joy of not traipsing miles down the motorway to buy a mouse (computer variety).

Diet starts today. There, I've said it.

Good morning all.
We have had no rain here in spite of the forecast saying we would.
Taking two of My grandkids out for lunch and then to the fun fair.
This is an annual event which they look forward to.
Eldest GG not coming with us as she has decided to spend it with friends for a birthday party.
Guess she is growing up and our days are numbered taking them to kids events.

Good afternoon all. News on Hollie dog. She has liver failure. She will be on meds and special food for the rest of her life. I’m having to feed her and Prince separately so he seems to think he’s being deprived. Hollie’s special food smells yummy, like chicken ‘n chips.

My kitchen looks like a greenhouse. I’ve loads of plants that need to go out but i’m having trouble getting enough water into the ones that are already outside. I went to buy a watering system from Scr3wf1x but not only have they sold out in our local store but also at the main depot. So i’ve ordered one for when they are back in stock. I desperately need to go and dig up the forest of selfseeded schumach’s that are taking over but it’s just too hot even first thing in the morning.

Much as I wish for rain, I don’t want it this weekend as it’s one of our 2 main town events.

Afternoon all, it was lovely this morning and very warm but it has all of a sudden become dark...wonder if rain is on it's way? Who would have thought last winter we would be wanting rain!
Supermarket shopping for me today and if it does rain and perhaps cool down I'll drag out the iron.

Was out today over towards Greenock and there was some heavy rain but once back home its been dry all day, there's a pile of ironing to be done but I think I will leave it to OH
