Last year I went to a local nursery/garden centre on their open day and got chatting to the folk that run it, just had a phone call asking me to pop along for an hour to this years one and offer some advice to customers about veg growing, now that should be entertaining, I'll report back assuming I'm not lynched lol.

I already have the best tan I've ever had (arms and legs from gardening!) .. and running out of alternative cool clothing.

Might set to on handwashing the second sofa's covers whilst we have good drying weather....

My son and his G/F have been staying with their dog but went home yesterday ...much to Hibou's relief!

Morning, dull and cool here. Thought it was going to be nice this weekend coming but looks as though it’s not. Our daughter and son in law are visiting so was hoping for some sun.
Well managed to get some ironing done yesterday and will try to finish today...there are better things I could be doing though.

Got about three quarters way around the course and then the heavens opened.
Came home like a drowned rat. Still lashing down now.

Hi Guys

Warmish and sunny here, but in office downloading photos and survey notes on three buildings I looked at yesterday so I can produce reports. Tomatoes are splitting and some have blossom end rot, there also appears to be an early indication of blight so I'm looking at harvesting everything slightly red and green that is healthy and slamming them in the greenhouse tonight to go red.

Good evening, have been busy the past two or three days, Oh wanted to alter the bedroom as she said she kept walking into the end of the bed, I had told her a number of times to leave the bed cover over the end of the bed where she would see it no bother but no she kept tucking it in, the bed covers are light coloured the bed end dark but I think that was just an excuse to get what she wants. Had been at A GC with Ikea next to it on Sunday, so she picked a unit to replace the ones that would be getting removed. So Monday all day cutting and altering the built in units Tuesday went to build up the new one, wrong colour, so back to ikea, then had to build it up, now that everything is finished she wants the room papered and painted

Morning Crew just off to the allotment to water the bed of beetroot seedlings and harvest as many green tomatoes as possible before the get blossom end rot or split and let them go ripe in the greenhouse

Morning it was our bin day as well Nicos they arrived at 6.30 so we have to put them out the evening before.
