Morning all. Looks a bit cooler again outside today. Meant to be taking the kids to a local museum but will have to see what the weather does.
Have forecast a very wet weekend for us so will have to find something indoory to do. Might do a plan for next year for the plot and see what I can fit in and where.
Have a good day everyone
Good morning, slightly warmer this morning than yesterday, but still cold for August, just going to take my son's dog for a walk then need to head down to collect my daughter's dog, and take her a walk then for a pedicure I have never came across a dog who's nails grow as long as quickly and she does get walked, enjoy your day

Cool and cloudy 16C after a chilly night - dipped below 10C here. How plants will cope with those temperature changes I've no idea, does Autumn start now for them?
It certainly means I have a cardi and long trousers on and I've put my sandals away LOL
The sky looks like more rain is on its way, so another catch up with the housework day for me!
Have a good'un whatever you're doing
Good morning all.

And your hands begin to harden.

Went out to another concert in the village last night. On the way back, there was an electrical storm of epic proportions going on in the distance, probably out over the Mediterranean. Amazing sight.
Up early again. More pottering and about ready for a mid-morning nap. Might try a coffee, see if that will keep me awake a bit longer.
Prevening All Rain this afternoon, but bright sunshine now. I picked up hundreds of apples Wednesday and this weather will bring down hundreds more. Wouldn't mind if I could use them for anything, but they're too small. I made cheese scones today. Hope you're all well and happy
Can I throw my hat in. Is it safe to post? I’ve had an interesting 4 weeks, mostly not good. An idiot wrote my lovely car off. We’ve had the most beautiful weather ideal for a convertible for years and I end up driving a nice, but non convertible.
I had a good go at removing my left small toe. I was trying to attach a PS to a tv and went for a coffee. The machine was on the floor and I stepped over Hollie when she decided to move. I was too late to change my mind so ended up nearly removing my toe on the edge of the PS.
Hollies illness is going to cost me about £50/60 per month for the rest of her life.
The insurance cheque took 10 days to clear and the hire car was retrieved after 3 days. The car my son has lent me broke down in the middle of nowhere. AA were wonderful. But still cost me £329 to change the fuel just in case.
Altogether the last 4 weeks have cost me somewhere in the region of £1600 on top of the usual living expenses. I don’t have pet insurance but have put the payments I would have paid in into a savings account. At the moment i’m on the winning side.
We’ve had rain. Lots of rain. For about the first time ever nobody is complaining. There’s a chance some of my plants will survive. There’s more but enough for now.
