Morning all. Had a busy day yesterday running round after the kids then today we are meeting up with a friend of Hannah's at an indoor soft play centre. So no allotment for me again today.
Looks cool and dry outside so far. Meant to be dry here until Thursday afternoon.

Morning all. 14c and bright here. Had a potter round Clumber Park yesterday. Not wishing to blow my own trumpet but the produce in their walled garden did't look as good as the stuff on our lotty. The glasshouse is amazing though.

Typically we had a clear sky this morning. Wish it had been clear on Sunday evening to see the meteor shower. Ah well

We had several owls in the trees outside the house during the night nattering away to each other...lovely to listen to them.

Morning All, I was going to sprint to the allotment this morning but woke up a little late and my get and go appears to have gone without me!, I'm guessing due to the sleepless nights and at the moment a heavy workload. Taking Mrs C to the Royal Brompton today for a mid year MOT as she is on treatment for her Lupus and the Brompton want to keep a watchful eye on her.

Morning it feels like the summers back

Mr B Clumber Park's only 25-ish mile away from us but we've never visited, must go some time.

Good day, up watching the boy's again as that's the holidays finished, and this is their final week on school holidays, I still think school holidays should only be at weekend's when the parents are off and yes Bren it does feel like summers back, we have rain managed to get the dog walked before the rain started, just hope it goes off again, out tonight as I will be visiting a friend's garden, looking,forward to it as he has been doing a lot of work in it during that dry spell. Well enjoy your day whatever your weather and as LD says look after yourselves

Been away on Grandad duties for a couple of days, we've had some nice rain while I was in Perth, garden is looking very productive. My roots, carrots and parsnips are the best I have ever grown, not massive roots, just good average sized and very tasty. My better half has made a soup with carrots, parsnips, sungold tommies and a cayenne chillie, all from the garden with a dash of turmeric, absolutely delish.

Evening all. Rain this morning but cleared up this afternoon. Have been catching up on laundry and supermarket shopping today.
Nights are fair drawing in, it was dark here before 9.30pm!!
First games of the hockey season this weekend so I guess autumn is on it's way. At least we can't complain about summer this year.

Morning all. Well I survived the children's soft play morning yesterday Shame I have the dentist this morning .
Going to drop the kids off at their dads, go to allotment to bag up some rotten wood and rubbish, go to the dentist and then go to the tip. Well that's my plan of action today whether or not it works out like that is another matter.
