Good morning all.
We have the sun again.
If anybody fancies sending the rain in my direction I would be glad of it,
Planning on going to the beach today to get some seaweed.
Dug over part of the garden yesterday so it ready to be dug in.
Lottie Dollie your paths look great, lots of hard work will be worth it though.
Enjoy your day all.

And your hands begin to harden.
You will find yourself a partner,
In the glory of the garden.

I was awake at 5am too Nicos, but just rolled over and shut my eyes again!
lottie, are you doing all that yourself?!! What a fab job, good to see the chicks too!
Has anyone got trees turning to their autumn colours? A couple in our garden are along with some Virginia Creeper...is it not a bit early?sigpic

No Jay, the trees behind our house are still holding their colour.
Didn't go to the beach for the seaweed after all. We had such high winds I decided to leave it for another time.
Thanks to whoever sent the rain my way I was.just taking in the laundry at a little past four when we had a downpour for the best part of an hour.
The garden is looking a lot fresher now.
Have a good evening all.

Morning all. Rain here quite a bit here but its meant to clear up about 10ish according to the weather apps.
Yesterday I managed to get rid of three wheelbarrows full of rubbish and old rotten wood to the tip. I was actually surmised how much there was tucked away in the hedge row. So this morning my back and arms are really aching.
Going to go my ironing in a bit and wait for this rain to pass
Have a good day every oneLast edited by noviceveggrower; 16-08-2018, 07:10 AM.sigpic

Lovely calm and sunny here.
Just done a couple of hours of ironing , grabbed a cuppa and now off to market to buy some baby leeks for planting out.

Morning all,
NVG you waiting for the rain to pass or was that a mis-spell and you're waiting for it to come down in torrents?
Nicos, I bought my kitchen leeks at the Gardening Scotland event at Ingliston from the NVS stand way back in June. £3.50 for 50 plants (except I actually got 98 in my bundle). They are romping away now but competing with weeds
Lovely day up here with loads of Shiney but things are certainly taking on an autumnal feel. I have a load of washing on and once hung out it will be orf tit allotment. Heaps to do and the days are getting shorter.
