Tipping down at the moment would be ideal for the plots if this lasted for a couple of days...unfortunately it's due to clear up lunchtime.

Morning, all. Grey outside but still quite warm. We're forecast thunderstorms today but not much rain. 8 mm apparently tomorrow. And very welcome it will be. If it happens. We've been forecast storms all week and not a drop has fallen.

Work today and a few more tidying up jobs to do before I go and pick up Mr Snoop. He's been off on a jolly in the UK for a week. Very jealous about the curries and naan and fish and chips he's been eating. Though doubtless I'm better off without them diet-wise. He spent one day in Bradford, so I sent him off with a list of spices to get while there. Home-made curries will have to do, but at least I'll be using fresher spices.

Hello, just popping in - hope everyone is ok?

I'm not been here much, as I'm busy now, upcycling a couple of old bookcases. As usual with all the rubbing down and filling of holes etc etc, the 'quick job' is taking for ever, and I haven't even got to the painting stage!

Normal service will be resumed .....eventually LOL

Good morning all. Lovely day of heavy rain yesterday. Still getting used to the forum but you do all seem like a lovely bunch (what is it with gardening and allotments that seems to attract lovely people?).

I'm working all weekend but for those who aren't have a lovely time

Looks like its going to be a nice and sunny day here. Picking kids up from their dads then we are going fruit picking and bean picking. Have been told where there is a lot of blackberries that haven't been touched yet so hope to get some more for my mom.

Cor...that was a loooong day.
Up at stupido'clock.fr and finally got to bed at 2am this morning having gone to a BBQ yesterday evening.
Managed to do lots of preserving of French beans in sauces yesterday (6kg!)
Sadly not mine but fresh from market



More domestics for me today, might go and have a wander to see if there are any blackberries -good idea!

Morning all, I actually had a good sleep last night by sleeping upright which seemed to support my shoulder better. Have to get a steroid injection...wait time? 3 weeks!
It’s a damp morning here but not cold. Going to have a bash at ironing bedding using my left hand...that will be interesting.

Morning all,hope it stays dry today,waves to TS hi,Jay when mine was bad i could not do anything with my right,so started using the left,now i operate the mouse using in it,you will be supprized at what you CAN do,whisking eggs and stiring tea ext,needs practice,if you like me see it as another challenge,and win it,how i coped was,keep the affected elbow down into your waist for support,i am able to operate the rest oh the arm for things doing this,say your ironing,this position will leave the fingers free to do something to help the other one out,main thing is,do not burn your self,think selfpresevasion,beat a challenge,and feel good you did it,when my is off,i find the elephant swing relaxes things a bit,good luck,you will get there lass,
