Good afternoon, LD I can do all those things using my left hand also, if I try ironing with my left hand OH has to move away as she finds it very odd the way I do it, I can even work a screwdriver with my left hand as well as chap nails in, if I try chapping nails with my right hand it is generally my finger nails l strike

Asleep Two_Sheds!!

Morning all, I actually had a good sleep last night by sleeping upright which seemed to support my shoulder better. Have to get a steroid injection...wait time? 3 weeks!
It’s a damp morning here but not cold. Going to have a bash at ironing bedding using my left hand...that will be interesting.

When I was 18 or so, all those years ago, I nipped the points of the index and middle fingers of my right hand when cleaning and sharpening a ham slicer. I honestly wasn't trying to make up the weight

I had skin grafts on the affected fingers but my right hand was out of use for several months and I was off work. I spent hours and hours in the pub I played darts for and became really good playing with my wrong hand. I couldn't hit a cow on the bum with a stick in my left hand now but my wee story shows we can and will adapt if needs be

Decided not to do the ironing first thing as it's getting cooler during the day now.
Just listening to a couple of barn owls chattering together and the very first of the dawn chorus. Tis certainly happening later!

Hope to get a chance to weed a flowerbed later...funny how weeds are first to recover from a drought eh?

Morning all. Thanks for the cuppa Nicos. @Jay, when I had a damaged shoulder I found the elephant swing whilst holding a small weight popped muscles and tendons back into alignment (discovered by accident when moving the vaccy cleaner). Strangely enough it worked differently doing it clockwise to anti-clockwise.

There was a chilly breeze coming in through the window this morning, but it's hotting up now. Still none of the promised rain here.

Off out shopping this morning, so I'd better get watering sharpish.

Morning everyone, damp overnight but it appears to be brightening up...at least for a bit. Having a lazy day before hockey tonight. Looking forward to meeting up with our hockey friends again.

Afternoon everyone. Been quite busy today have been to allotment, chopped down a load of branches, started clearing a wooden bed that was rotten and full of nails, cleared a bed that was full of rubbish, picked my mom up and took her to various places, been back down allotment, loaded rubbish up then took it all to the tip.

So have now got an empty bed that is under a bit of shade and poor soil quality. My mom has suggested putting strawberries there.

Evening all,

been dry here all day but it has been quite windy and blustery.

I judged the fruit classes at a local show today whilst my better half judged the vegetables. Watered my show celery in my plot afterwards as well as the toms in the polytunnel and then came home and had a sleep. Must be getting old .

Just seen the weather forecast for tomorrow and the rain moving up the country is going to move out over the North Sea before it gets to us. I'm not sorry about that.

Evening a big change from this morning the sun came out not long after I posted so my coat was off for the day. Still warm out compared to this morning.
