We have a rat problem at the moment, due to our neighbors persistence in putting black sacks up against the shared fence.
Costs us a fortune in rat poison

^How about traps? Not nice emptying them, but at least they're recyclable.

Days are definitely getting shorter but when the sun is up, it's still hot. Been watching videos of floods in Barcelona recently. Not a drop here, still. Mr Snoop got used to the green of the UK while he was away. He keeps commenting on how brown everything is here. Sad to see the state of the trees. Must be worse for the farmers, who depend on them for a livelihood.

Dark this morning and sticky warm

Yeah, here was dark clouds all day but really humid. I did an emergency library run for RustyLady before my new doglet arrived, also squeezed in an hour’s weeding. Got doggy settled, but she didn’t like my two, so I set up separate quarters, blitzed the house then walked them all.
Wanted to finish hemming a dress, but my back’s protesting, so I’ll fall asleep in my book I reckon (The Beautiful Dead) ... I love getting new library books

Dark, sticky and warm here (17.8). It rained half a mile up the road yesterday but we hardly had a spot, huge cracks in the plot.
