Up since silly o’clock, only had paracetamol with caffeine tablets to take at 2.30 a.m.
Pain gone, but Ive been wide awake for ages
I feel sore and sorry for myself

when you ring for and appointment,tell em you got shingles,and in pain,they will find a place,are you able to say where they are,

Right on my bra line at the front, pain going from front to the middle of my back

Morning its a dull day here and feels like autumn but without the spiders webs.

Mornings!
No spiders webs outside, but I've noticed that they've started coming inside - the cat swiped a couple of biguns yesterday - one on the stairs and one making a dash for the TV stand
More tomato bottling today for me, have a good'un whatever you're up to

Well, I've done a bit of weeding. I must be feeling optimistic about next year after all. Rain forecast for the end of September. Not a massive amount but some. Fingers crossed.

Otherwise, all good here. Watered, dodged the wasps and hornets, one of the cats followed me round, drinking from the puddled water around the bases of the plants. He's a good sign of autumn coming: he's already putting on his winter weight and his coat is getting thicker.

Hope you manage to get a doctor's appointment soon, NS. I've never had shingles, but my dad was in a terrible way with his.

Good afternoon, having a lazy day today as OH is out with former workmates, so no one about to tell me to do this or that I did empty my compost bin, as it was too wet have layered it with crunched up newspaper, and with all the stuff the reporters write in this Daly paper it should have a high manure content also clears out a bed of raspberry bushes, as I had a very poor return from them

We have been off line all day due to some fault with our service provider.
Made 10 pots of bramble jelly so there is a bit more space in the freezer.
Had the granddaughter this afternoon, she is back to school in the morning.

Evening all,

today was do shopping day for better half's old folks. Managed to do a bit of repair work on a concrete canopy at the front door before we left for the shops and fingers crossed my cement work will set overnight. After the grocery shop we had a scran in the sale racks at S****buries and I managed to buy three tee shirts which means I'm now geared up and kitted out for our trip to Harrogate in the middle of September. Gardening wise, the day was a right off but all work and no play makes a fella a dull boy I'm told anyway

Evening!
Just spent a lovely evening sat next to the fire pit in the garden/field.
Reading by candlelight and the odd flash of lightening and to the acoustics of thunder
Just the odd spitting from time to time but not enough to have to come in.
Got a feeling this might be the last 'summer'type evening sat outside withought needing thermals!

We had a spectacular thunderstorm during the night!

And boy has it rained!
I can hear the veggies laughing with joy.
Maybe now I finally get the chance of a courgette glut?
