Morning we've got the same weather here NS, it's only 8.3c outdoors.

Mornings, just a degree warmer here, but dead calm. Calm before the storm is what it feels like - haven't looked at the forecast yet, though. Mollycat isn't sure either, in and out, in and out and then repeat!

I will be quieter this w/end than I thought as visit has had to be rearranged - good job the joint was still in the freezer Feeling meh! now, so will just potter around til I think of something I fancy doing.....

I was just looking at the weather forecast...looks like we are in for a couple of nights this week of 3C

Need to find my fleece for the tomatoes and chillies...

Lawns cut yesterday so might do some weeding later....

Anyone doing anything exciting this weekend?...might pop out to a Vide Grenier tomorrow, but rain is forecast so I might do more jamming instead.

Good morning all,had a visit yesterday,the council are arranging a larger step area with hand rails for MR out the back,a bed aid and a grab rail for bathroom,very nice young lady she was,having to go though seeds,so a nice change while am relaxing,have a good day all.

All hot and bothered here. Can't believe the weather. It's like July. Should be getting cool by now, surely? I've got my fingers crossed for a wet autumn and perishing winter. Fat chance of that.

Not much else to report. Chicken tagine I made yesterday isn't spicy enough. How's that for a bit of exciting news!

Actually I'm having a very quiet day!
Decided I wasn't giving myself a chance to heal , so I've been reading mostly (back turned against the sight of the ironing pile!)
Just about to light the woodfire...
Trying to decide what to do for OH's burpday in 3weeks.
We had planned to visit the kids in the uk but we have to be there the following week now to finalise the sale of MIL's house.
Messed up the plans a tad. Never mind!
Might be nice just to stay in...have friends over in the evening, or maybe go out to Le Mans for the day. Never been there!
Might see what the weather is like nearer the time.

After all the doom and gloom about wet weather we never saw a drop of rain.
Went and played pitch and putt for the afternoon and it turned out to be a lovely mild afternoon.
Just been giving my lavender hedge a light haircut.

We've been down to the Derbyshire woodland festive at Elvaston Castle its a good day out but some displays and stall have been cancelled this year because of rain and winds. I think tomorrow will be cancelled due to bad weather.

Good evening, was out at a birthday party for my nephew, that's him past me in age now, as he now gets a bus pass and while driving home I noted that the temp. was down to 5c so quite glad I removed my tromboes and pumpkins, and also shows you can't trust weather reports as they indicated 7c overnight, I am off to read a book for a short time before bed, enjoy tomorrow and try and pass on a smile. An early one for me, as Mollycat was charging around the bedroom after a moth - well I think that's what she was eating, by the time I was thoroughly awake

Dismal, grey, rainy day out there and forecast to stay that way, so heating and lights on then *sigh*
Out to get the paper and a bun, then into winter mode with some sewing I think..

Going to make a apple and blackberry crumble for pud, which is a favourite
