Other half has took me out to the garden centre today and let me spend on whatever i wanted because its my birthday. So bought some blueberry plants that i can harvest from July to Sept. Now sat at home having a glass of vodka and lemonade while he cooks tea.

Calm and grey this morning, but not a cold as lately, so door's ajar and the cat's happy.
A kitchen tidy-up is next on the list plus an allotment visit, as grass needs cutting before it's knee high No peace is about right, eh Nicos?

A tad on the grey side but a nice 12 deg.
Did all my domestics yesterday and all is as it should be.
After I come back from the park I am going to tackle the greenhouse
It needs a good tidy out so that should keep me occupied for the afternoon.

This diet thing is not going as well as I’d hoped. Seems I have no willpower, who knew?
Was going on the rant thread to bemoan the fact that yet again I am waiting in for a parcel company. Not delivering, but collecting the damaged parcel from last week.
Then I read our friend Lumpys Rant, and mine paled into insignificance .

Hello all. Took 2 friends to CAB, I gather they weren't much help. And another to hospital for tests. Now home to a huge removal van on the pavement right up against my lounge window. Dark in 'ere innit. it's only one day, I'll cope. Nice weather though. Laters.

Afternoon.
Not done much constructive at all today
Pulled a few weeds from the driveway, bought a few bits and pieces in the way of food, planned the burpday outing for my OH in a couple of weeks time ( day trip to Le Mans...he's upgrading his car the following week, so that's treat enough eh?? )
And done a bit of washing and drying.
Feeling very lazy today!!!!!

When I opened the box with my new sewing machine in yesterday, I didn’t immediately take it out. I’m somewhat confused. I subscribe to Which and checked their report on sewing machines so chose a middle of the range Bernina. The box mine came in says AEG, the machine has AEG on it. It might be a very good machine and worth what I paid. But do AEG make Bernina. After the last debacle nearly 50 years ago, I don’t want to be stuck with another dud.

Good evening it has been dull and wet here today, so haven't done much, though I did plant up a couple of pots of potatoes and sawed up some wood for the fire, and took the dog for a long walk, need to do that more regularly as I want to drop my weight down a bit more which wouldn't be too difficult if it wasn't for the fact I like to eat which reminds me of OHs saying of "if we didn't have to eat we could save a fortune" she says this quite regularly and somehow I get the impression that she actually means if you rather than we getting ready for a holiday just hope its not to warm in Spain as OH struggles with the heat. Well enjoy the rest of the week,and almost at the weekend so keep a smile on your face, as someone may be in the need of it Goodnight
