Cold enough for me to get the stove going this morning. Animals in and out. Wish they'd make up their mind! Frosts due at the end of the week.
Have a cold myself. But mostly manifesting itself in a fuzzy head and sore throat, so could be worse.
Big hug to FF. Whatever you do on The Day, whenever and whatever that is, I'm sure you'll enjoy it when it comes.

Good morning, cold wet and windy today, and now have the oldest grandson home from school with a sore throat, so no chance of doing anything today, quite glad I went out to the garden last night even though I finished up working under lights, if I had waited till today I wouldn't have got anything done, now need to see about lifting 100 gladioli and some dahlias, need to get it done before the hard frosts start, and with this rain its going to be a very short window of opportunity, (I read that in a paper and wanted to get it in somewhere
) right don't know what I will do just now, can't even go and annoy OH as the boy's here
it may be a struggle to reach the top, but once your over the hill your problems start.

Now up at my daughters as grandson feeling very poorly, so he is now in bed, and he must be feeling terrible as he has left his phone downstairs, still raining but the temperature has increased a bit, its now up at 11c, though with this rain we (OH) have decided to have a weekend away in November so we will head for the Lake District (date still to be decided) and the younger one is in from school and wanting to go out to play, when it was dry last week all he wanted to do was play the guitar children are as contrary as wives with that I think I will withdraw for a time to avoid anything being thrown at me
