Not long till November sc! Heating is on full here and I've been sorting out scarves as well as shoes and socks We've had rain, hail, sun and strong winds and now it's going dark. Welcome back Nicos
Earlier I was sitting with my fleece on and decided I felt cold - looked at thermostat and it was only 16C indoors - thought that's too cold for my joints, so switched timer to on from morning 'til when I go to bed.
I don't do cold indoors bad enough if I have to go out in it
I always said I'd rather live on egg n chips than scrimp on the heating
I live in a semi-detached house and can definitely tell when my neighbours' heating is on. That's often enough to keep me going on a weekday evening. I suspect they've been out today, which is why it's been so cold.
Evening all, lovely sunshine today, but nippy outside
I have had our heating on all day from yesterday
Never mind, it had to happen. It’s November very soon and we all know what’s after that.
Hope everyone is well
No wonder I have no money, my heating has been on since the end of August, and I need it today, was out in the garden this afternoon planting bulbs and as the afternoon progressed it was getting colder and colder, by the time I was finished (actually had to stop as it was too cold) I had to run cold water over my hands to get some heat into them, I had suggested to OH that we get close to share body warmth, but the wrong thing to suggest when she is cutting up a roll of meat
it may be a struggle to reach the top, but once your over the hill your problems start.

Sorry LD I should have thanked you for that information re the root riots, I might give them a try, if I can find them cheap enough, and welcome back Nicos

Sunny now, but really nippy out.
Had a lazy weekend due to selling dozens of Sindy dolls on flea bay for the Charity shop.
I have been surrounded by them, but secretly been loving dressing them up and photographing them.
At the other end of this I will let you know how much they all made.
Have a lovely Monday
Mornings!
2C over night and 7C now, but grey and drizzly, with a North breeze. I have to venture out for odds n ends from the Co op (inc plain flour for more biscuit trials!) - but don't think I'll be going any farther today Brr. I'll have to have a whizz on the exercise bike instead
Have a good'un all
