Good evening, just back home from a weekend in the Lake District, and thoroughly enjoyed it, a nice lazy weekend, though had a visit to a GC down there and bought a lily bulb for £5. had to hide the price from OH as I got her to pay for a big red onion which I am going to try growing and see if I can get some seeds off it and she also paid for a garlic bulb, which I will be planting out, wanted to know why I didn't pay for them myself and told her I had no money, so will need to be careful she doesn't find out the price of the lily bulb, or my jacket could be hanging on a shoogly peg
AP I have found that if you hide behind the curtains, the polis eventually go away
As for passing on a smile I'm not sure, it may be harder as you get older but you will have to ask VC about that

Evening all, another day at work, but good fun anyway
Rare, you can be so funny, I’m still smiling writing this. Consider your smile passed on.
What’s a shoogly peg?
Now for my weird sense of humour. Picture the door into Marks and Spencer in Aberdeen. I kid you not there were two artificial Reindeer parked at the door. To me, M&S is far too expensive to shop in so are they giving a subliminal message to their customers to that effect..i.e. too dear

NS, a shoogly peg i.e. my jacket could be hanging on a shaky(shoogly) nail(peg) if OH found out the price I paid for a bulb, I might not be as safe as I think

Right I am off now to do a bit of reading, OH is catching up on all the rubbish that she has recorded, she is running a bit late should have caught up by now but we were at our daughter's for tea, which was nice of her to invite us up, a change from them just dropping in when we are about to feed funny how there is just the two of us yet OH always has enough to feed whoever drops in
