            • Sorry for your loss Cad,thinking of you and your family.

Good evening it has been a miserable cold day but has actually stayed dry, got some gardening done, spread some seaweed over a couple of the veg beds, and also planted miniature daffodil bulbs, now at my daughter's watching the boy's, and once I am back home I don't think I will be doing much tonight, and definitely won't be watching tv, how folk can watch that program that just started beats me, it not what I consider entertainment, ah well each to their own I suppose . Right need to go ad my daughter is home, pass on a smile

              • rary, could you explain how you use your seaweed, with the storms we have just now I will be finding plenty of kelp and wrack and often wondered what to do with it.

                • Generally I empty a bag of seaweed into a barrow and cut it up with grass shears, I have found that if it's shredded a bit it can be spread easier through any plants or fruit bushes that you may have in the garden, I covered the garden with cardboard and paper four or five weeks ago then spread seaweed on top of it, today I was planting bulbs through it and just below the surface I found several worms they were tiger worms but still happy to see them, band the veg beds I was covering today was covered with garden compost and vegetative material them cardboard over the top followed by the seaweed

                      • Morning All

Currently -3.5° and foggy, the kind of weather I like walking in.

But today will be consumed with waiting for a new bed to arrive....then off to pick the grandkids up from school.

                        Have a warm Thursday

The flowers have had a brilliant season, but it’s time they were gone.
Going out for coffee with a workmate this morning, then hibernating this afternoon
Have a good day folks. Brrr
