I will be attending the charity Xmas afternoon tea this afternoon

Was really quite sad handing over the keys to the Landrover!
But....apparently she'not going to be used for parts, but done up into an off-roading monster with huuuge tyres!
Looks like she's in for a bit of fun over the next few years

Hi Everyone!

Not been about much this last year as I have posted before, had to step up to the mark at work, although I shouldn't have had to, but somebody had to keep the "Boat Afloat" All my own choice, and now thinking what an idiot!

But done, and at last things seem to be settling down, people put in place of responsability, and have actually had a few days off.

The loft is now cleared, the gardening stuff I have collected/collated over the last few years that as just been thrown in the spare bedroom as been gone through, sorted and stored in the loft accordingly in a tidy and accessible fashion.

We have room!

All my seeds will be going up there tomorrow in the self made seed cabinet, at last I can see light at the end of the tunnel!

Late evening all.
Home from a four week holiday in a lovely town just outside Malaga, on the Spanish side.
No tourists and living the way the Spanish live, shopping daily in the market for fresh fruit, veg and fish.
This is our twenty fourth year to holiday in this area and it's still unspoiled.
Hard to leave it all behind but good to be home with family.

More 'stuff' for me today....my poor house is in a terrible disarray -I think some tidying away is in order!
First things first though...both washing machines on the go and kettle is ready. Toast anyone? This morning I have a selection of apricot jam, bramble jelly or locally made honey.....

Morning all. Temperature in Paphos currently 21degrees. With any luck I’ll be moving out of this rather disappointing room today. As a 5* hotel I think they have a bl00dy cheek putting anyone in it. My friends are in the one next door and have nicknamed them “the dungeon”.

There was a magnificent thunderstorm last night, I love them.

Had my cuppa, had my breakfast. Think I’ll go and investigate the pool (again). Laters.

Morning all, grey and yuk here
Afternoon tea was as boring as I thought it would be. But they put on a good do if you were 20 years older than me lol.
They also catered for every diet and separated them. It was an eye opener how today’s allergies etc are looked out for. Big labels with ingredients etc. Gluten free. Vegetarian. All there.
Me? Two salmon and cucumber sarnies and the whole bowl of choccies on the table.
After that excitement, it’s back to work for some normality today.

Bright sunshine today, the first proper sunshine for a while now. It was a perishing cold night, the coldest so far. The frost has those sticky-up filaments that make everything look like it's covered in white carpet.

Don't know when the clothes will,dry but at least they will have been washed.
