Horrible night with sciatica so took more tablets and slept later to make up for it. Easing now, so that's all good! Weather here is absolutely dreadful with horizontal rain YUK, do deffo an indoors day.

Just found out that our local newsagent has closed so no more weekend deliveries for us. Oh well, one less Christmas box

Been to my whisky shop, a treat in so many ways, the run over the Cairn O'Mount on the B974 goes through the whole range of scenery, from fertile arable up to 454 metres above sea level into the forests and hills, then drops down into Aberdeenshire and up to Royal Deeside. Got a thick quilted/padded shirt and a bottle of GlenAllachie, so that's my crimbo sorted, SWMBO will get her stuff next week in Aberdeen.

Mine is only 5 miles from me. They had a whisky tasting whilst I’ve been away. In all the years i’ve been a customer i’ve only been able to go to one of these events. I don’t know how they manage to pick dates when I can’t attend.

Evening all.

I seemed to miss yesterday. Don't know how that happened, I can only apologise to my fans for my non appearance

I spent the early part of this morning under my trailer on my back cutting out rusty old cables with my angle grinder. All the safety gear on mind cos it was a mucky job.

I've replaced the brake shoes on the two hubs on one side. Now I have to turn the trailer and do the other side. I'll be an expert by the time I'm finished.

More festive stuff for me today!
I'll not put this on rant thread yet( as I'm optimistic) but we have someone coming to look at our 14 yr old golf with a view to buy.
Thing is, last night on the way home the abs lights came on. It's not the fuse, so hopefully it's just needing more break fluid.
Otherwise it's going to be costly for us and we might lose the sale.
Fingers crossed please!
AP...do feel free and pop on a boat and give us a hand with it when you've finished with your breaks!
