Good morning, a bit warmer but still wet today, filled up the bird feeders both nuts and seeds and back in the house and went to the window to see if there were any birds feeding, the seeds had a number of blue Tits and there was a woodpecker feeding at the birthdays the first I have noticed this winter, also had some long tailed tits the other week so will need to pay more attention to what birds are coming to feed, well enjoy your day no matter the weather

Good morning strangers!!!! How are you all? Feels like ages since I've popped in. Life getting in the way a bit but hopefully things have settled. It's a damp morning this morning and I believe a storm is on it's way for us up here tomorrow...oh goodie!

Happy belated birthday to Bessie's pups. Hope Ted and Spud had a great day! Can't believe it's 4 years already! Just watched a video of them as puppies, wonder how the others are doing?

Two of the three puppies playing together are Spud and Ted, who are still here and still teasing each other. Ted, the brown one, was on his back in the video, being picked on and he's still the same now. Rolls over and tempts Spud and Bess to come and "attack" him. They're just as crazy now as they were 4 years ago. I still haven't got over the shock of it all.

Hoping to get the trees and decorate the house today.
I checked the outdoor tree lights and yep...you guessed it
Had a good trip to IKEA yesterday. Interestingly we were joined by our Swedish friend who wanted some traditional Xmas foods. Needless to say, I bought more than I needed...again
It was good to see more biodegradable/paper decorations in there this year.
Just had a bit of a panic!...I need to find my Xmas cards and get the international ones written and posted...plus the parcels!
I've been excited about Xmas for weeks now and suddenly it's less than 3weeks away

Horrible weather this morning, rain and howling wind! An indoor day for sure
More sanding for me, as the pine table top is taking forever to get rid of the yellow, may have to lime wash it. Ho hum.
Must get a move on as I've got friends visiting on Monday and there's dust everywhere

Morning all, another wet day but so far we haven't seen the promised wind...hope it stays that way. Domestics today, getting the front room cleaned for the arrival of the Christmas tree. Is it my imagination or are there more Christmas lights around at the moment with trees etc up a whole lot earlier than usual? Are people just needing cheered up?

Off to have my hair done shortly.
Cant wait as it was bleached by the sun and I look like a brassy blonde.
I wont put my tree up until next weekend when its nearer to Christmas.

Good evening, a cold dark wet blustery day today, had to go to school this morning as the children were having a Christmas fair, so that stopped us down anything else, and now have the two youngest till tomorrow as their mum and dad have their Christmas night out, and we are at their house as the boy's have parties tomorrow, oh roll on tomorrow night for a bit of piece, well enjoy your weekend and keep warm and safe
