I made a batch of mince pies yesterday for OH to take to work. Glad I made too many cos quite a few were 'accidentally' consumed throughout the evening
Right...breakfast first. Homemade Irish soda bread with lashings of butter and local honey...mmm.

Day off for me, so a few chores and some card making. May put that in reverse order though.
Had a good day at work yesterday, one of those where everything ran in order. It’s delivery, collection and rags day. Made us realise how it should be .....

It's one of those days that ought to be miserable: cold, raining (weather forecast was right) and very grey; plus I'm so bunged up I can't even say 'bunged' and not sound like in some old-fashioned TV comedy.
But I'm in quite a good mood, for some reason. And Mr Snoop has just offered to make me coffee. So all is, in fact, right with the world. At least the very small world of our kitchen.

Decision made!
OH and I are treating ourselves to a new fridgefreezer in the new year (sales)
That'll be our Xmas pressie to each other-a better quality one than we would otherwise have bought.
Having defrosted and cleaned the old one(10 yrs) yesterday and replaced the gaffa tape holding the shelves and trays together It came to me that we don't really need anything this year for presents...so maybe an upgraded replacement would tick all the boxes!
Am feeling quite excited about it

What a miserable day.
Gale force wind and rain with a horrible grey sky.
More domestics today I suspect as it's too bad to do anything outdoors.
My house had never been so clean and tidy courtesy of the bad weather.
Nicos, snap...we are buying a new fridge freezer in January as well.
I will be interested to see what you choose.
Ours is built in to the kitchen units so we are confined to certain measurements.
Hoping to get an automatic defrost as I hate that job.
Anyway, have a good day whatever your doing.

Good evening, it has felt very cold today,and again nothing garden wise done, went for our flu jag after dropping the boy's off at school, then up to the church for the Christmas coffee morning, followed by a quick run round the table then out to a school panto, and now watching the boy's, life is a bit hectic just now, but don't know if I would have it any other way
Nicos just reading that last post of yours, some how it didn't paint a pretty picture
but I did like the one before it all I need to do is talk OH into buying something she needs for the house then tell her its her Christmas need to go daughters in

Evening all,
I've waited in all day, for delivery man, still no sign of him *sigh* I'm still hoping....
Anyhow, marzipan is on 2 cakes and the tree is now decorated, the bunting and lights are on the mantels.
Mollycat has already started batting at the baubles wonder how many times the tree will be over this year?
