Gnomes really do exist and enhance garden spaces.

There is no other explanation (well at least in my tiny brain cell) that my lovely Gnomes Gordon, Grenville, Gervais etc have been very busy putting plants into my garden when no ones looking.

Here's my proof -

Grew the foxgloves from seeds 2 years ago and no neighbours have them in their gardens.

so where did these come from?


Bought these whatever they are


And now these have appeared

And, finally absolute proof that something goes around pottering........

Yes, I planted the clemetis and raspberry


But where the piggin ell did this come from?


Now, my OH has never been able to tell the difference between a dandelion and a donut but it seems my trusty band of gnomes have enhanced both the colour and pollinator stock in my garden.

They're all mixed colour, and self seeded from the original (probably hybrid) plants. Same thing happens all the time in my garden, with no gnomes locally - unless fairies/pixies are about at night when I'm not

Nah - they have to be gluttons with a liking for slugs and snails with a bindweed salad

Hybrids are far too ‘way above my pay grade’ and as far as slugs etc

Between the frog,birds,hedgehogs and Gnomes so far this year i’ve found 6 slugs.

Bring out Gnome power. It’s as good as anything else in my tiny chaotic garden.

The purple what ever they are. Could it be purple toad flax? Looks a little similar. Don't know how much variation it has.

How are you opening them? Left clicking on the photo - which opens the photo in a new tab, or right clicking and choosing an option - which leaves them sideways on?

That is, <open image in new tab> leaves them sideways, <open link in new tab> right way up in my Windows 10

Janie - of course they are related as I kidnapped a few from the GR a few years ago and let them get on with it.
