  • Hello again everyone :) I'm back again :)

Hello Everyone. Long time no chat I'm afraid to say.

Well since I last logged on, a long time ago, quite a bit has changed again.

We have finally got a place of our own. We are in a little two bedroom flat, just waiting for a three bedroom to become available for us. Got wifi sorted now so can get on line as and when needed.

I am moving to a new allotment site. I'm not happy where I am at the moment things are changing but not for the better. Plus its quite a few miles from where I live now. I am thinking of giving my car up in October due to the cost of running it and MOT is due.

Have found a new site about a mile away from us. Very friendly and welcoming. I have got an interesting plot that's on a slope but has a wonderful view across the site. Have a shed, which I don't have at my old plot, and they have said I can move a greenhouse from another plot. The frame was put up and then the guy never bothered putting the glass in.

So quite a bit has been happening. I will try and up load some photos.

Ive missed you all, the banter and all the great advice

    NVG

Hello, NVG. Hope you have lots of fun on your new plot and in your new, if temporary, home.

Is the slope enough to make you want to do a bit of terracing, or is it manageable? A view is always good. Space for table and chairs at the top of yours so you can look down and admire all you survey?

                  Pics of my plot

I have managed to upload a few of my pics. The shed at the top is a bit, well very beaten up. Need to patch that up a bit. One of the committee has cut down most of the weeds and has said he will rotavate the plot for me as well.

As you can see it is on quite a slope. Can't find a pic from the view at the top.

Kids name for the new plot is Mountain Goat Hill.

I can imagine your kids rolling down the Hill.
It'll keep you fit and the good thing about a slope is, there's less shading from the rows (depending on which was the slope runs, of course).

All the best in everything NVG, and welcome back
it may be a struggle to reach the top, but once your over the hill your problems start.
