Never had a lottie, always had a garden big enough for our needs, but that looks very tempting

Got to wonder what you've been doing with your spare time - do you have a hobby of some kind ?

(sorry couldn't resist the temptation any longer) :-)

I did have hobbies until we got the allotment.

It's been a few weekends hard work, but now most of the hardwork is done, hopefully, next year will be easier.

I'd like to be associated with the comments of the last speaker/poster.

Certainly impressive work, should you be allowed to work your parents that hard?

Looks amazing. I live in hope that in 11 weeks time mine may look like that. Do you have a before pic?

I thought I had a before pic, but can't seem to find it.
                        I'll ask the Mrs.
I do have one of us putting the pallet fence up and the first bit of rotivating in April, but it's from the opposite direction.

                        Things we've done:

                        Collect rubbish.
                        Strim.
                        Weed Kill.
                        Collect more rubbish.
                        Dig & Rotivate.
                        Pallet fencing.
                        Wire netting fencing.
Relocated a shed from a friends garden 10 miles away.
                        Raised beds.
                        Pull out weeds.
                        Pull out more weeds.

                        Things still to do.

Try and control the thistles and HorseTail weed.
I can see the HorseTail being troublesome.

                        Things we've planted.

                        Strawberrys. (only a few)
                        Celearic (weve never had celeriac)
                        Garlic.
A few old onions from the fridge to allow them to go to seed. (experiment)
                        Transplanted a rhubabrb and Gooseberry.
I have a Hop plant for the back fence.
I forgot to mention half a dozen spare tomato plants

Dad works hard for his age. :-)

To be fair, there have been 4 of us at it.

The horsetail seems to be resticted to one particular area, so I'm tempted next spring to wollop it with Glufosinate-ammonium and have that particular area as a late plot.
