I've got my driving test tomorrow!!!
          AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAARRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRGGGGGGGGGGGHHHHHHHHH!!!

Was practising hill starts on Sunday and had the handbrake on full and the car started rolling backwards and so we realised that was broken. Took it to the local garage yesterday morning and explained the situation and they said they might be able to fix it by Wednesday but couldn't promise anything.

I woke up in a total panic this morning at 5am thinking it was Wednesday and not having a car meant I couldn't do my test...and just couldn't get back to sleep. Been stressing out all morning as the garage didn't call yesterday or this morning to let me know if I would have my car back later on, so I called them and much to my relief it's been fixed and I can pick it up later on today.

But now I'm all stressed up, which isn't good. I had friends over yeasterday with their 18month old son and that totally took my mind off the whole thing, but I'm all alone today and my brain is working overtime...so I think I'm off out to the garden to dig a big hole or chop something down to take my mind of it.

thanks for all the support...I went out and did a load of weeding which helped keep my mind off it all and then took the dog for a long walk.

I've just woken up from a nap as I was so tired due to my early rise this morning and my OH has just rung to let me know when he'll be back home so we can pick the car up from the garage and do a little bit of driving practice by going and getting some fish and chips for tea...yippee I don't need to cook tonight!

I hope the car is OK.
