Congratulations all. You'll all have a fab time.

Piglet, you old romantic. You're very sensitive for someone with a snout and trotters. I've been with The Old Man 15 years now but haven't got round to getting married yet

I fancy a Medieval Do. I want to be married in a castle at sunset, with candlelight all around in the Great Hall. Everyone would be dressed in Medieval costumes as anything they want, Lady, Knight, serv, peasent ect. There would be minstrals in the gallery and they would play as we were Handfast. Then, we'd have a full banquet with all the trimmings. Loads of honey mead, wine ect.

Fabulous, and maybe one day we'll get round to it.

OMG! Don't start worrying now. Start worrying the day before your test when you haven't looked over your notes on the engine and can't remember where you put the questions list your driving instructor told you to review... like me! Everyone should stay off the streets tomorrow. I'm going to wreak havoc on the roads all due to my nerves.

I was in the car for the first time today after two weeks [our handbrake broke and I didn't fancy driving without it] and I was terrible! I stalled all the time and just made the stupidest mistakes! 6 weeks sounds like a long time but it isn't when you can only squeeze in a few hours practice a week - that's why I'm worried. If my OH was indispensible and I could drive all day everyday, then I think i'd be fine, but unfortunately he's not. Good luck - and let us know how you get on! I'll have my fingers crossed for you!

Blimey, they make you study the engines now too? I did have it easy when I took my test.. That 8-odd years ago now... Good luck both on your tests

yup - you have to know all about the engines now and get tested on it too. Add to the that the theory test and the hazard perception test. you certainly had it easy years ago.

I learnt to drive initially when I was in my early twenties, but never went to sit my test - How stupid was I. I've been regretting it so much lately.

                          Nicos.
I lost track of when titles change a long time ago
I read every post each day and sometimes it takes hours. I think it is the quality to the post that makes the Vine such a wonderful place to hang out. I do know that the number of posts at which a title will alter has been changed but as there are so many grapes these days I have no longer been keeping track of the post milestones.

I agree Jaxom - its not the number of posts made that is important, but the quality (and also the humour). I have learnt so much since joining the forum last year and bore the socks off most my gardening friends with my new found information. I enjoy the humour too - so keep it up folks

Edit: Meant to say that somedays I just log on to read the posts without posting anything myself - which I am sure alot of others do as well.

Not sure if I've already mentioned this (!!!!!!!!!)but I'm getting wed on Saturday so last Saturday there, the boys decided to blacken me.Some of you expressed an interest in the quaint custom, so here is a not exaustive list of what I was coated in before being driven round the town, left outside the pub and then hosed down before going on a twelve hour drinking spree at the end of which I had to carry my best man home (something wrong there surely ?).
Two bottles out of date Buckfast Wine
                              Five gallons animal molasses
2 x Buckets of left overs from local chinese restuarant
2 x Ditto from local hotel
                              11 bags of flour
2 dozen out of date eggs that had been left by a boiler for ten days
                              Dog food
Will post photos when I get the DVD

Forgot to include the catering pack of Garlic salt
