  • Place to visit. Mottisfont Rose Garden

I think I've probably mentioned this before....but this place is stunning - especially in June, the walled rose garden is stunning.

I think I've grown the Campanula but in blue - reminded me of harebells.
That Scabious is amazing. If you buy some save me some seeds, please.
I have some beautiful foxgloves this year - white ones, pink ones and some with a dark "tongue" inside the flower. Also some dwarf ones for a change.

A bit too far for you Rary unless you are taking a holiday on the south coast.
It's near Romsey in Hampshire, just 30mins north of Southampton.
It's worth planning a trip in Mid June if you ever holiday in the UK.

Looks lovely Scarlet. My friend is in UK and, funnily enough, we were talking about a joint trip to one of the gardens one of these days. Who knows, we might let you know if we ever go

I was up and down to Southampton for years and never knew about them, but may be down again sometime as I like the New Forest area, though it has went down a bit since my first visit to the area
