What error message are you getting? It’s probably that the image is to large?

Image resize links and info to be found here:

Please let us know how you get on.
    Have a test here.....

Yes, that’s probably because your image is too big. I often just use the edit tool on my iPad and crop the image.

I've got an iMac and have lost the will to live at times when trying to upload photos.

What we need is a thread headed "Photo Testing" so that we can experiment with uploading without cluttering up proper threads with our catastrophes. Any chance of this please? Posts over say a week old could be deleted to save space.

You Windows bods are lucky as there's so much freeware. There is some for OS X but not had time to try it out .

Using the "export" function on Photo loses size like the onion one above but maybe I've done something wrong.

I tend to use Flckr as you get full size good quality photos. Cropping degrades them. Also I seem to remember photos being lost from Vine's servers. This won't happen with Flckr.

                  Here's a sample https://www.flickr.com/photos/103667.../shares/89XJPB

If you click on the small pic you get a very good zoom.

The photos I post are usually just photos of my veg/garden...if I chop a bit off it doesn't really matter and it's generally enough that it will upload straight from my phone. I'll often upload it while in the garden or when I've just come in straight from my mobile. I find it quick and easy. If you take the photo stepped back a bit knowing you will crop the image it will upload fine.
