Still nothing here, it's been weeks now since any rain, and April since anything significant and prolonged. Doesn't look like we're getting anything in the next 2 weeks either!

If we don’t get rain by Sunday I shall be out in the garden at midnight doing my rain dance in the nuddy.
Universe and neighbours you are now warned.

How about going back to traditional values and organizing a local cricket match or a village fete ? - those were almost certain to provide long periods of heavy rain in my childhood.

Nick it's Wimbledon Fortnight it should be lashing it down and giving Cliff Richard a change to sing to a captive audience !

OK Cad just imagine the scene -
Mr Bobby without the spots. No musical ability so has a dance routine most Grandads would be proud of and a singing voice that resembles fingernails dragged down a blackboard.

As most young men I did have the taking twins to bed fantasy, and my little Triffid actually is a twin!

But It's never going to happen as I really don't fancy HIM and I'm not that kind of guy if you know what I mean
