Had no rain here all of June and none so far this month - only been watering the tunnel - all the veg looking very sad but we did pick a courgette the other day - we are on a meter so nothing gets wasted but does make you mad when other people run hoses all night.

Driving along here, looking at the roadside plantings, both new and well established, you can see that the silver birch have dried up completely. They're not going into autumn colours, just going straight to brown and crispy. I expect they'll recover, but they're looking very dead at the moment.
