Revived my netbook so I'm back online more.

Loaned my little, tiny netbook to my son for school. After he and my grandson had it for a while it slowed waaaaay down. My tower quit working. Bought a new laptop for my son. Took the netbook and overlaid Windows 7 with Linux. Much better.

I used the Kindle Fire now and then but I really don't like using a touch screen. Too slow. With Linux on the netbook I'm good again plus the netbook is more portable than the tower and just as portable as the Fire but with a real keyboard.

I should be back bothering VC more often now. I can't wait!

I know what you mean about touch screens DW, I do use my Kindle Fire or iphone especially for taking and uploading photos but really I've been spoilt by my desktop PC, keyboard and comfy chair
