  • A nice surprise!

I've just opened today's post and received a packet of leek 'hannibal' seeds for entering the GYO customer survey. Don't remember doing it, but very glad of some free seeds!

    Me too.

It's not just me then.... I got some as well.

I thought I was in a weird seed buying dream.

I was going to post on here to see if anybody remembers me doing a survey and when it was.
A very nice surprise indeed and according to the packet you can sow them in September.

I vaguely remember it but it was some time ago. Are they Sarah Raven seeds by any chance? I must be patient for the postman.

Yes they are Sarah Raven seeds. Fingers crossed for you PW!

Seasprout, I'm not sure I'm going to sow mine 'this' month (can't believe we're in to September!) as I didn't have much luck over-wintering last/this year. It might have to join the mountain of seed packets which require my attention in the spring!

Pigletwillie, yes they are Sarah Raven seeds, Leek Hannibal, (does this mean they like liver.?)
Also a leaflet saying I can have 10% off her catalogue before October 31st.

Waffler, I will also add this packet to the Mountain of seed packets I recently purchased from the Wyevale every packet 50p shopping spree I recently took part in.

I got some too. It was ages ago, I've been subscribed for about a year now, and I remember doing it not long after taking out said subscription.
Had forgotten about them, so was a nice surprise. Going to do mine in Spring.
