It gets so dry here we even have ants drinking from the hens' water.

There was a frog in the birdbath early this morning.

Must admit I'd not done much for the wildlife other than make a home for the worms with mulch to feed the moles and birds. Stopped feeding the birdseed once nature provided her own harvest.

I have a couple of small tubs by the back tap that always have water, also the hanging baskets are a source for insects but I will make an effort for the birds. I don't want to pamper the damn cats though, the smell still pervades the house daily and I can't find some of the poop piles!
