Just for fun - real allotment show prizes

Our allotment is having a show, with the usual prizes for neat veg. Spurred on by the sunflower thread, what prizes should be awarded that we might stand a chance of wining?


My suggestions
"the promising most, delivering least" award (root veg & tubers), marks given for size and luxuriance of foliage, and dissapointingness of underlying vegetable

"the Usaine award" for fastest bolt (geddit?), timed between planting and turning to non-edible seed heads...

Yep I've had the odd winner in those categories, especially the Usain one lol.

I would have won the roots and tubers with my oca last year - amazing foliage, nothing at all underneath except roots!

Most crops stolen by a pet? I keep spotting the dog working her way along the dfb's and cfb's, and can't put my trug down without her snaffling some.....
