Compostable plant pots

I tried the compostable mini pots a couple of years ago and I was really disappointed with them, as the plants root system couldn't break through the compostable pots and got root bound and just didn't grow at all.

If they could make the pots less sturdy and decompose quicker, it might be better, but I'll take convincing before trying again.

I had pretty much the same experience as Sarriss..

The plants didnt thrive, seemed to dry out quick, roots didnt break through and they didnt compost quick.

I know we need to reduce our plastic use but flower pots being far from single use are ok in my mind, as long as they are re used and re used!
