Just got paid my bonus yesterday and I think I'm going to treat myself to a few bits. Probably a poly/fleece tunnel or two, some new secateurs and........

That's the problem, whenever I want/need something I never seem to have the money. Now I've got the money, do you think I know what to spend it on!?!

Let's talk hypothetically, let's say you have £100 to spend. What would you buy, and where would you buy it?

For the garden/plot that is.

Was going to say that if I had a hundred quid I wouldn't have to panic about paying for the new steering rack my beloved car needs, but I spotted you said garden stuff so it would be a couple of nice pots for my roses and a load of manure if I could find someone to deliver such.

I need some big heavy pots to repot my acer into and to grow some of these fruit trees I intend to buy in! There's a place down the SW, near Wells, does very good ones and has a bargain section too.

I'd buy 2 each of 2' by 2' by 10' long poly, mesh and fleece tunnels. I saw them at £15 a piece at Ryton, but at 10' they are the wrong shape for my beds - I was very covetous of them, nonetheless!

I would LOVE to buy some ready espaliered fruit trees- the type you step over with one branch per side.( are you offering in donating the money to one of us Wayne????)

I'd get a shredder. Not a massive one - I can get the one I want for under £100. In fact, I think I shall. I get cross at having to take stuff to the tip that's too coarse to compost but which, with a little gentle shredding up, would add to my compost heap. E.g. the sticks from my Jerusalem Artichokes, hedge prunings etc.

See now I could cope with that parked next to my house - the camper, not the camper stood in front of it! Our neighbours but one, have this bladdy mahoosive thing parked in front of their house (googles to see if he can find a piccy) - like this: Swift Kon-Tiki - The Ultimate Motorhome Range

It's parked so it overhangs (completely blocks) the footpath. Back end facing their house, front end sticking out onto the road if you follow me.

Personally I'd love a split-screen VW camper, but doubt my £100 will stretch.
