We've got an Epsom R300, and it does quite happily print A4 photos of great quality. It also prints on card with no problems with a bit of tweaking of settings. I printed 2 lovely photos onto A4 as a birthday present for my F-I-L who is a very experienced amateur photogapher & he was really impressed with them. And I printed several calendars onto card for Christmas pressies, and they were fine too.
I'd quite happily buy another one of these, all it needs is some fiddling with the settings and you get great results. If I couldn't get one, I'd still buy an Epsom as we've had one since we 1st got a PC 10 years ago, and only had one break-down.
