I'll be trying one melon variety this year in the g/h - charentais canteloupe.

Did you get the 100 tomatoes book cheap somewhere?

      Hey Manda

I'm trying a couple of melon types this year: Medley Mixed and Noir des Carmes. the Medley mix has been really disappointing as only one seed came through. Are you going to grow yours outside or in a greenhouse?

The 100 Toms book came from a bookseller on Amazon - The Book Depository - it cost just under £9 including P&P - not cheap but when you're an addict you've just got to do it!

Have a heart - leave the poor woman alone. I know just how she feels - Mind you I have really been enjoying dipping into several books, following the delivery of my order from the book people, following the very naughty thread drawing my attention to it

Gosh and darn it but Amazon has finally let me down! They've given a revised delivery date on early June for Diggers Diary.

Still, it'll give me time to get stuck into the new Andi Clevely book - The Allotmend Seasonal Planner. My OH came home with it as a pressie yesterday (I'm still trying to find out what he's feeling guilty about!). Seems really good from what I've read so far.
                  Cheers
