plant, tree & flower id book???

hello!
we've recently moved house and our new garden is well established with lots of different flowers, shrubs & trees. Trouble is we don't know what half the stuff is and therefore how we're meant to care for it.
Can anyone recommend a good book/ website for identifying plants?

The RHS has a good site for ID. You could also try the library, the RHS have a book but it is quite expensive.
