Yup, hooray for Panasonic, mine's five years old now, cat knocked scale weights on to the top and bust the outer plastic skin, but it's still going strong, woke up to fresh bread smells this morning and a lovely wholemeal loaf.

Our Panasonic is now about 2 years (or maybe 3?) and is used every few days. Still going great with no problems (apart from the time I forgot to press the start button, doh!)

Some of us live in the past, always talking about back then. Some of us live in the future, always planning what we are going to do. And, then there are those, who neither look behind or ahead, but just enjoy the moment of right now.

Which one are you and is it how you want to be?

I have had my Mellerware bread maker for about 15 years. It gets used like crazy from time to time (usually around this time of year) then sits in the cupboard for ages again. Still working away merrily in spite of me asking it to knead double measures of dough so I can make larger loaves now the boys are growing up.

We bought a Panasonic 2 months ago and it is without doubt one of the best gadgets we have invested in. We use it every day and have not bought any bread since. We use Tesco's own brand of strong white flour and at only 48p a packet it is proving to work out pretty cheap.

                Another vote for the Panasonic

... it's just so good. Even I get good results - when I'm allowed to play with the girlie toy that is......

yup, Panasonic here too, I waited till my friend got hers - she does all the research and I just follow. Bought my vacuum on her recommendation too. Had it about 4 years and still going strong.

I trusted the advice on here, and the reviews elsewhere and went for Panasonic about 2 years ago. Use it nearly every day. Perfect results everytime and no problems with bread. Makes great Pizza and Naan too.

Our household would second the pizza and Naan recommend. 5 stars there as well

I bought a cheapie from A*g*s for £24. The loaves were terrible so I now only use it for making the dough which takes 20mins. I do the rest by hand but its really easy and I can bake 3 loaves at once in the oven so its faster than using the bm for the entire process. The bread tastes lovely and looks like a proper loaf.

I was tipped off about this web-site and it is well worth a visit to buy cheap flour, yeast, enhancers etc.
