  • Aldi vertical planter offer

Seems to be a good price and a genuine offer (around 300 elsewhere). A large self-watering vertical planter, (32 separate planters) but as its £150 I am haven't yet splashed out!
    Link here.
Ps, was on Love your Garden this week, about 17 minutes in.

This could be good if you have a tiny garden. I've always wondered about how you water these, but if it's genuinely self-watering ie has a reservoir, then it could work. Pricey though!
Mostly flowers, some fruit and veg, at the seaside in Edinburgh.

I think the self watering description is a little generous. You need to water the planters at the top and it then feeds the water down to the lower planters, a little like those champagne towers.

I keep looking at it, but I'm not sure that the pots are realistically big enough 11-13cm x 10cm, is that big enough for lettuce and strawberry plants, I'm just not certain, however if it was reduced to under £100 I might take a punt
Nestled somewhere in the Cambridgeshire Fens. Good soil, strong winds and 4 Giant Puffballs!
Always aim for the best result possible not the best possible result

It would also be handy if you only have a balcony.
          Location....East Midlands.

11x10x13 is tiny, they'd dry out really fast. Not sure you could grow much in a pot that small.

Reading up a bit more, they are selfwatering pots, with a reservoir at the bottom. Diagram on this pdf .

The info leaflet is very good. In the right place it could be just what you want.
