  • Ice cream maker?

Yeah, I know, it's bl**dy freezing outdoors so why do I need an ice cream maker?????????.................just asked missus Snadge about Crimbo prezzie and she says she fancies one!

Put my Mr Scrooge hat on and had a look on the net. Three possibilities:-

    1) Magimix 11047 for around £35

    2) Kenwood IM200 or IM250 for around £25

    3) Prolectrix for £15 reduced from £30 (half price at Tesco's)

    Must admit,veering towards the Prolectrix!

don't know about the others but i have the magimix and would recommend it, the only down side of these is they only make quite small amounts then you need to re-freeze the bowl before you can make more

I'm thinking of upgrading to a machine with a built in freezer next year

Another vote for Magimix, we've a le glacier 1.1l. You've never tasted good ice-cream until you've made your own.

we have a kenwood - does the trick for us. as SBP said, you will love the taste of your own ice-cream, our kids love it - and yes we use it in winter as well
