HOT DAMN you lucky mare, i did have, i shall look again, was going to get a sausage machine thingy last year, but it did seem too much faffing for the 3 of us.

I do know you can order the skins online, and freeze them, then you soak em before you use them, they didn't seem TOO pricey.
i suggest you google, cos thats how i found suppliers.
let me know how you get on, i am still hankering after one.

he he, i was taught as a kid how to string sausages, and then when Callum started work at the butchers, his boss laughed and challenged me, bloomin priceless the look on his face when i could still do it, must admit i am not a fan of the synthetic casing, but it is cheaper and easier to handle. Once you get the hang of it it's like riding a bike, you don't forget.

you could chat up your local butcher and ask him to show you how its done?

Sorry - looks like the link I posted has been blocked. Try Googling for "sausagemaking" and you should find it

They were easier than i thought and taste gorgeous - Definitely
                              worth the effort.
                              Can you recommend any recipes?
