Has anyone used Maxicrop? Is it any good? Used to use Woolies plant food. I've started using Fertile Fibre and saw Maxicrop advertised there. Any advice?
Just seen in my Tuckers catalogue that Maxicrop is organic seaweed extract. We don't use that but we do use the granules that you make into liquid feed from Tamar - very good value at £9.95 (but not organic).
i used it on my broad beans last year and had really good results. I also sprayed it on the foliage and had very few black fly - i will be using again this year

As far as I know you can't get inorganic seaweed! I presume it's seaweed plus?

Its not certified 'organic' as per Soil Association regs....imagine what's in it if its from the North Sea?
Or any other sea for that matter!
How do you get organic seaweed without a sea then?
