  • Eco Friendly Wallpaper Paste for Sowing

Received my order today for 100% fungicide free wallpaper paste from Urbane Living (see link below)

    Adhesives

Cost me £4 delivered for 100g which makes 5.5 litres of solution, that shgould last a few years. I'm going to try sowing my carrots in it (recommends on the pack to use as an organic sowing medium) to hopefully escape having to thin them and therefore avoid carrot root fly.

Their service was excellent, with the goods being delivered within 24 hours - would certainly recommend them if anyone thinking of doing this with their carrots.

Good luck, and have fun with it.

The only way to prevent carrot fly is to cover them though. I don't thin my carrots, and I fleece them, but the fly still gets in.

I don't think the carrot fly comes indoors - but then I've never heard of anyone growing carrots indoors either

On the basis the window is upstairs you'll be OK from carrot fly anyway as they can't get that high - I think! Let us know how you get on, never tried them inside.

Some of us live in the past, always talking about back then. Some of us live in the future, always planning what we are going to do. And, then there are those, who neither look behind or ahead, but just enjoy the moment of right now.

Which one are you and is it how you want to be?
